AVERT Youth Foundation’s main mission is to create the necessary opportunities and platforms for young people to express themselves and help them solve pressing issues affecting them. In this vein, the Foundation has adopted the following as its aims and objectives:
1. To inspire, connect and empower members to help young people in our community by volunteering, fundraising and speaking engagements.
2. To promote tolerance, maintain discipline and transform the youth through education.
3. To educate the youth to understand their civic rights and responsibilities.
4. To help combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other related diseases affecting the youth.
5. To ensure environmental sustainability in our community.
6. To promote gender equality and empower the women in our community.
7. To undertake other development programmes that will better the lot of young people in our community.
8. To promote and ensure tribal and religious balance in our community.
